Happens once per year only! A whole weekend at Portsea Camp in total immersion with a young and dynamic team of qualified French teachers. During the two days of this French immersion weekend, students will gain confidence in their ability to speak French while practicing through playful activities, such as outdoor activities or creative workshops. Excellent for Year 10 students who would like to practice their French in a great location before starting VCE!

Location: Portsea Camp

Date: 24-26 October 2014

Transport: Transport by coach from the Alliance Française de Melbourne and back. Departure at 4.30 pm on Friday 24 October. Return at the Alliance Française on Sunday 26 October at approximately 4.00 pm. Please  ensure that you arrive at the Alliance in St Kilda by 4.00 pm at the latest, on the day of departure.

Attendance: Please note that there is a limited number of available spots, so be sure to  book early.

Cost: $395. Payments must be  received in full by 10 October, 5pm. All inclusive (food, accommodation, transport, language workshops and activities).

Conditions: There will be  no refund when cancelling after 10 October, 5pm. Application for a refund must be made in writing to Aurélie Pierre:  headeducation@afmelbourne.com.au. It must be received prior to 10 October. If a student is entitled to a refund,  a 20% processing fee will apply.

Subsidies: The Languages Unit of the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development will provide a subsidy of $300 for 20 participating students from government schools. Please contact Aurélie Pierre at headeducation@afmelbourne.com.au for more information.
