Engaging students through French music & cinema - Non-Govt School Teachers
Interested in bringing more current French music and cinema into your classroom?
In partnership with the Victorian Department of Education and Training (DET), the Alliance Française de Melbourne is offering the
opportunity for practising Victorian school teachers of French to learn about and discuss strategies, resources and activities that will
help you to engage your students through the French music and film of today.
During this professional development day, you will discover and explore artists, films and themes in the current French music and cinema scene which are appropriate for including in your lessons with secondary school students. You will share and exchange ideas with other
teachers and, by the end of the day, you will be prepared with new ideas and resources, including a ready-to-use lesson plan on the theme of French music and cinema.
Fee for teachers of French at non-government schools in Victoria: $300
Morning tea and lunch are complimentary, courtesy of AFM. This professional development day will take place at AFM CBD (Level 13, 55
Swanston Street, Melbourne). If, due to government restrictions, we are no longer able to hold this event on-site, it will instead be
held online.
Sorry, you've missed the RSVP deadline for this event.
