I was enrolled in the extensive classes, which is 9 hours per week over 3 days. I took the morning classes so that I could spend the rest of the day visiting places in Paris. The classes are a huge mix of nationalities- Australia, Argentina, Chile, Spain, Brazil, Greece, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Italy, USA... and I made many friends!
I had a wonderful time staying with a French family. I stayed with them at their house in the southern suburbs of Paris during the month
of May. I was very nervous when I arrived in Paris and met them for the first time but they made me feel at home very quickly.
Overall, I truly believe that choosing a homestay in conjunction with taking the classes was one of the best decisions I have ever made- it
was fantastic and I highly recommend it. It was a wonderful experience and I learnt so much about the French culture and what it is like to
live in France
